JR DUCK COMMITTED TO PLAY NCAA DIVISION I HOCKEY
The Anaheim Jr. Ducks of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) are pleased to announce the 16U defenseman Chad Sasaki has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Colorado College in the NCHC.  Click here for the full story.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JUNIOR DUCKS
This past weekend was a great weekend for Jr. Ducks hockey! Pee Wee AAA, Bantam AAA Major and Midget 16U AAA Major teams are STATE CHAMPIONS. Next stop for the Bantams and Midgets is Districts and the Pee Wees will be competing in Quebec. Best of luck to all three teams!

ICE'KATEERS HAVE GREAT WEEKEND
Our synchronized skating teams did very well in competition last weekend. The ICE’Kateers senior team placed 9th at the French Cup. At the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships in Minnesota, the Junior and Open Juvenile teams placed 2nd and the Juvenile team placed 3rd. The Rockers Open Juvenile team from Westminster ICE also place 3rd. The Senior, Junior and Juvenile ICE’Kateers teams advance to Nationals in Providence, Rhode Island Feb 25-28.

THE RINKS - ANAHEIM ICE TO HOST INAUGURAL CASEY'S CUP 3-ON-3 TOURNAMENT
On Saturday, April 11th, The Rinks - Anaheim ICE will host the inaugural Casey's Cup Ice Man Charity Tournament in memory of youth hockey player, Casey Strale. Benefits of this 3-on-3 tournament will go to TGen's research for a cure to pediatric and adult Adrenocortical Carcinoma. For more information on Casey's Cup, click here

WOMEN'S PICK-UP HOCKEY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY MORNING!
CALLING ALL WOMEN: Join The Rinks - Westminster ICE for Women’s Pick-Up Hockey every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30am! This is a great source of cardio, a way to make new friends, and experience the sport of hockey first hand!

Adult Skills Clinics are back at The Rinks Lakewood ICE on Monday nights! These weekly sessions offer professional instruction from our Rinks Coaching Staff on skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting skills. The cost is $20 per participant - pay as you skate! ANAHEIM DUCKS LEARN TO PLAY PROGRAM
The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program presented by Bauer is back, giving all first-time hockey players the chance to get on the rink (ice or inline) in full hockey equipment for FREE!  Participants receive instruction from The Rinks coaching staff on how to skate properly while implementing some of the basic skills in hockey such as passing, shooting, and stick handling.

The Learn to Play Program is a (4) four week session geared toward participants 10 years old and younger (due to equipment sizes). Each participant is provided with an equipment bag, helmet, shin guards, hockey pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, stick and a jersey, which they get to keep during the duration of the session, giving them the opportunity to practice what they have learned between each session. Skate rentals are provided for free at each rink as well. The use of full hockey equipment allows participants to get the feel of skating in full hockey gear, allowing them to experience the sport as a whole without taking on the financial commitment of purchasing all the equipment.
 
Participants who complete the Learn to Play program and continue on to a paid program within The Rinks will receive a FREE, complete set of Mission/Bauer equipment to keep courtesy of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.
