TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE DAY - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST AT THREE THE RINKS LOCATIONS
The Rinks and the Anaheim Ducks will host Try Hockey for Free Day on Saturday, February 21st for boys and girls ages 4 to 12 years old at three THE RINKS locations as part of USA Hockey's "Hockey Weekend Across America!" at three THE RINKS locations.

There will be an on-ice session at THE RINKS - Westminster ICE from 3:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., and inline session at THE RINKS - Irvine Inline from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and a street hockey session at THE RINKS - Huntington Beach Inline from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

THE RINKS - ANAHEIM ICE TO HOST INAUGURAL CASEY'S CUP 3-ON-3 TOURNAMENT
On Saturday, April 11th, The Rinks - Anaheim ICE will host the inaugural Casey's Cup Ice Man Charity Tournament in memory of youth hockey player, Casey Strale. Benefits of this 3-on-3 tournament will go to TGen's research for a cure to pediatric and adult Adrenocortical Carcinoma. For more information on Casey's Cup, click here

JUNIOR DUCKS CHOSEN TO PLAY WITH USNTDP TEAM
North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) and Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U forward Justin Dixson was given the opportunity to play this past weekend for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program (NTDP) 17 Team in their weekend home games against the Chicago Steel.  To read more, click here.

CALLING ALL WOMEN: Join The Rinks - Westminster ICE for Women’s Pick-Up Hockey every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30am! This is a great source of cardio, a way to make new friends, and experience the sport of hockey first hand!

MONDAY NIGHT ADULT SKILLS CLINIC
Adult Skills Clinics are back at The Rinks Lakewood ICE on Monday nights! These weekly sessions offer professional instruction from our Rinks Coaching Staff on skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting skills. The cost is $20 per participant - pay as you skate! ANAHEIM DUCKS LEARN TO PLAY PROGRAM
The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program presented by Bauer is back, giving all first-time hockey players the chance to get on the rink (ice or inline) in full hockey equipment for FREE!  Participants receive instruction from The Rinks coaching staff on how to skate properly while implementing some of the basic skills in hockey such as passing, shooting, and stick handling.

The Learn to Play Program is a (4) four week session geared toward participants 10 years old and younger (due to equipment sizes). Each participant is provided with an equipment bag, helmet, shin guards, hockey pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, stick and a jersey, which they get to keep during the duration of the session, giving them the opportunity to practice what they have learned between each session. Skate rentals are provided for free at each rink as well. The use of full hockey equipment allows participants to get the feel of skating in full hockey gear, allowing them to experience the sport as a whole without taking on the financial commitment of purchasing all the equipment.
 
Participants who complete the Learn to Play program and continue on to a paid program within The Rinks will receive a FREE, complete set of Mission/Bauer equipment to keep courtesy of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.

On Fri. Feb 13th the 9:30pm SoCal ICE Hockey session has been canceled. On Mon. Feb. 16th the 12pm pick-up hockey session has been canceled.

Public Skating
February 2015
On Fri Feb. 13th the 7:15pm-9:15pm public session has been canceled. On Sat Feb. 14th and Sun. Feb 15th all public sessions have been canceled.

Freestyle
February 2015
On Sat. Feb. 14th freestyles are from 5:30am-6:30am and 6:30am-7:30am, all other sessions have been canceled.
